My Talents?- Nov 10, 10

I believe some important talents I am given are: being organized, taking risks/ being brave, being a leader and being willing to serve.

First of all, I value the organization skills I have. It is important because even if I am not super good at some areas in school, if I keep good notes and organize my ideas well, it is easier to succeed. For example, I am not so good at math, however having neat notes help me to get prepared for the tests and I am able to receive good grades.

Secondly, taking risks and being brave is a talent I have. When people are afraid to try new things or volunteer in something, I am most likely to go for it. I am mostly not afraid to make mistakes and that is a talent I was given.

Next, I believe I am a leader. Looking at the Skills List, I was able to check off many of the lists. I am able to organize and lead a conversation or a project. I can also be self-motivated and demonstrate what we are trying to acheieve as a group. In many different areas, I have learned that I am a leader and I enjoy my roles in different groups such as Student Council.

Last but not least, being willing to serve is a talent. I have participated in many service activities in and out of school and have learned that I enjoy them a lot. In past, I have participated in 30 Hour Famine- 6th, 7th and 8th grade, went on MS LASA Trips- 6th and 7th grade and am currently in Serving Hands and in LASA Trip- Thailand group. I also serve in school both big and small like reaching out to people who are quiet and lonely or cleaning after others in lunch.

These are some talents I have learned and am working hard to develop.
