Looking at the print-out of my learning style quiz results, I was able to find out a few things about myself. I did not have a preference for mostly all of the conditions which I thought was weird. I thought not having an opinion about something is bad, however, Ms. Sayler told me it is fine because I can study in most conditions. Out of all conditions, I had 3 high preferences: Persistence, Responsible and Structure.
As I recall, I believe these results are pretty accurate. When I have started on a project or homework, I mostly finish it all, and then move on to another one. Even if I leave it undone and work on another, I do not like it. I feel that I will forget to finish up or I will run out of time. I also do that because I like to have one great project done than to have 3 okay ones. This is perhaps why I have high preference to be persistent.
Next one was responsible. I agree with this one because one of my strength that I chose was this. In classes, it is usual to find myself writing on my planner and thinking about my schedule. I like to be organized and structured. I need to know what is coming up and I need to get done. When I get these responsibilities taken care of, I am able to focus better.
Mentioned previously, I am a structured person. I like to have a set schedule with minor things changing once in awhile to keep myself responsible and organized. I do not think that I am a perfectionist in all times but I do like to get things done well that I will be happy with the final work. Whether that means spending a few more hours than others, I feel better when I accomplish what I have planned.
I was EXACTLY like you in HS! I couldn't live without my planner, and stressed out if I didn't remember to put something in it. However, don't get caught into the trap of thinking your life has to fit in a planner (or box). God is so much bigger...
